Getting Started
Thirteenz is a puzzle game where players match pieces to add up to the number 13.
When you start, you will be given a collection of 6 tiles on the top of the board, and two on the bottom. The point of the game is to find two numbers that add up to 13, for example, 8 + 5. The number 13 is played alone.
The tiles at the top of the board each generate 6 numbers. The more numbers you are able to use at the top of the board, the more points you will receive. If there are no matches, use the tile with the arrow to flip through the numbers at the bottom to make matches, but you will receive less points.
Playing
You are allowed 3 rounds to score points. During each round, you will be given a new set of tiles. If there are no matches left, the game automatically moves on to the next round.
If it seems like there are no more matches, be sure to check the bottom stack.
Scoring
You will get the most points by making matches at the top of the board, and by finding 13s there, they add to your score %, so the higher your score, the more they are worth. Matches from the bottom are worth less points, but 13s found there are still bonus points. The more times you cycle through the bottom set of numbers, the lower your point value will be if you use them.
Clearing all the tiles at the top of the board is worth a 4000 point bonus.
